Site Launch – Golden History Museums

The o2 Group just launched the newly designed Golden History Museums (GHM) website, www.goldenhistory.org! The GHM staff came to us with a new logo/branding set, hoping we could design a website that was as fresh and engaging as the new branding. Golden History Museums consists of 3 locations, Astor House Museum, Clear Creek History Park and Golden History Center. They wanted to show that each location is unique, yet also unified as a part of Golden’s history. Our designers went to work to create a site that would make people want to explore all of the history that the Golden Museums have to offer.

The result? A beautiful, photo-driven site that is easy to navigate and engaging. Some of the key pieces include:

Photo galleries throughout the site to display exhibits and images of specific locations
A Connect page to house all social pieces, including yelp reviews and a blog
Customizable, rotating hours of operation in the page header
Paypal integration to accept donations

Reichle v. Howards Continued

Coming up this week, we’re working on the Colorado centric Supreme Court Case, Reichle v. Howards. The arguments are set to be heard Wednesday and a ruling should be handed down before June. According to the NY Times, Reichle v. Howards will determine whether the Secret Service agents protecting Vice President Dick Cheney can be sued for arresting a man who attempted to assault the then Vice President while in Beaver Creek. The final ruling in the case is likely to set a landmark standard for how law enforcement is able to deal with arresting a citizen with or without being held liable for assault and becoming a target for lawsuits.

We’re representing Sean Gallagher, the attorney for the Secret Service agents who are being sued. For more information on the case, you can read the article from the Christian Science Monitor or the New York Times or contact Matt Yemma. We’ll be posting further coverage later this week.

This is based on revenue and number of sites designed. We designed/developed 39 sites last year. This is representative of our growing business and our growing team. C-Level @ Mile High

Each year, The Colorado Technology Association hosts the C-Level event at Mile High. The event draws C-Level IT celebrities looking to network and/or meet qualified vendors for future projects. Projects cover many areas, but some include Cloud Computing, Mobile App/Web Development, Security, Virtualization, CRM/ERP/SAP and Staffing.

As the Exclusive Event Production Partner of CTA, o2 Group handles all technical aspects of this event, as well as helping design and execute the look and feel for the night. We look forward to this event each year both as a sponsor and a participant and enjoy networking with others in the industry. The C-Level @ A Mile High event is the single biggest technology deal-making event in Colorado with more than 900 business professionals and technology leaders attending.

We just launched a complete redesign of the Whiting Petroleum website! Chock full of investor information, crisp clear video and a custom Operations Map, the Whiting Petroleum website gives visitors an inside perspective of Whiting’s operations and production forecasts. o2 customized the Flowplayer to play standard and high definition videos as well as display a forward looking statement before each video. In addition the o2 Group embedded Thomson Reuters Feeds into the Investor Relations section of the Whiting Site. Take a look at www.whiting.com.
